From Mick Fieldbinder:
"I attended John A. Logan Community College down in southern Illinois and then went on to the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama graduating with a Mass Communications degree in December of 1996. I played baseball at both places for as long as they would let me. From there I was fortunate enough to be drafted and played in the minor leagues for 5 years advancing as high as the Double A level. After my playing career ended I immediately started coaching and have been doing it ever since. I currently work at Samford University in Birmingham Alabama and have been there for 3 years. So for all baseball enthusiasts, if you're rolling through Birmingham in the spring time feel free to look me up. I can get you in to any of our games for free!!!!! I am in charge of the pitching staff which I'm finding out can be quite an adventure. There's nothing like trying to make a living off the pitching performances of 18-22 year old kids who are more interested in chasing girls than throwing strikes! I also spend an awful lot of time on the road recruiting as part of my duties which is why I can't attend the reunioun.......I know all of you are devastated! By the way, if any of you know of any players feel free to contact me.

On the personal side of things, I am engaged to be married in September. Kim is from Birmingham and like most of us men, I have completely out kicked my coverage with her. She is a single mother with an 8 year old son named Jaxson........sharp as a tack.......funny........keeps me on my toes.......love them both. I'm the guy that thought he would be a bachelor for life until these two came along.......instant family.

I enjoyed reading the bio's from other folks......hope everyone keeps sending them in. I hope everybody is doing well......take care."
